Robin Galloway has been entertaining UK TV and Radio audiences for over 30 years.
Famous for his telephone wind ups, Robin is the man behind popular characters Old Mrs Galloway (She's 89 you know) and Peterhead's favourite Fash delivery driver, Hector Brocklebank.
His wind up albums have been awarded gold records by the Scottish Phonographic Industry and his on line sketches have received millions of hits on YouTube too.
A prestigious New York Radio Festival Gold Medal winner, he started his career at Aberdeen's Northsound Radio, going on to broadcast on Manchester's Piccadilly Radio, Glasgow's Radio Clyde and Scotland's Real Radio.
Robin Galloway currently presents Scottish commercial radio's only national breakfast show and is a regular press guest on STV's Riverside Show.
Robin was a national newspaper columnist for The Scottish Sun for over a decade and is still a regular contributor.
Robin is married to long suffering wife Tracy and has three grownup children.
Robin enjoys cycling and drinking red wine - though not at the same time.

ROBIN GALLOWAY'S 2013 Q&A FROM BAUER RADIO:
First job:
Cash & Carry shelf stacker. A cut above the normal supermarket. I stacked the shelves for the store that ultimately stacked the shelves for all the other stores.
Who was your role model in the early days?:
My Dad. A consultant paediatrician at Sick Kids in Aberdeen. He wanted me to follow in his footsteps. So I did. He stuck a stethoscope in his ears - I pulled on a pair of headphones. Miss you Dad. x
What do you consider your big break?:
Covering for Soul City on Northsound Radio - period circa 1983. The time the radio bug bit me.
Best thing about working in radio:
Playing your favourite songs and chatting on air with your friends. The best job in the world.
Outstanding memory as a broadcaster: Winning Gold at The New York Radio festivals in 1999. Best breakfast show in the world. I kid you not!
Favourite interview:
Tony Blair. A listener told Mr Blair his wife was hot. The then First Minister Jack McConnell told him it was a wind up. To which the serving PM answered "Well thanks very much Jack - I happen to think my wife is very hot. Cue tumbleweed.
Most memorable listener:
The lady I called to try and buy a snake. She was selling a reptile tank and I kept insisting that she was a pet shop. She was merely selling the tank for her grandson but repeated that she'd 'never been in the pet trade.' Legend. Bless.
Which presenter past or present would you most like to co-host with?:
My radio hero was and always will be Kenny Everett. His genius will never be surpassed. Mind you, I'd probably just sit there in awe - saying very little.
What advice would you give anyone hoping to enter the industry?:
I refer you to my previous answer. Buy Kenny Everett's book "The Custard Stops at Hatfield" That will tell you all you need to know about the hard work involved in getting into radio!
What do you do to wind down?:
Cycle and drink red wine. Though not at the same time. Always cycle responsibly.
Dream dinner guests and signature dish:
Frank Sinatra and Chateaubriand. I'd cook while we chatted.

Beatles Sergeant Pepper - Oasis Definitely Maybe - Frank Sinatra - Live at The Sands.
Best ever gig:
Bowie Murrayfield Stadium 1983
Fantasy studio guest - past and present:
Same as my dinner guest. Frank Sinatra. We could have dinner, hang out till the wee small hours and then come straight to the studio.
What motivates you to do what you do every day?:
My family. The sole reason I function. They are my life.
Ambitions for the rest of 2013:
To take The Robin Galloway Breakfast Show to the top of Scottish radio. We've only just begun.
