Glasgow born Katherine Grainger is definitely Great Britain's most successful female rower.
Her medal tally began with a silver medal at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, then Athens in 2004 and Beijing in 2008. Katherine also added 6 world championship winning medals to her collection.
Her most recent gold medal winning performance at the London Olympics 2012 really brought Katherine's name to the fore with the British public.
Katherine Grainger is totally committed to her sport and she was awarded an MBE in 2006 for her services to rowing. What makes Katherine's success even more spectacular and unique is the fact that her achievements at the Olympics make her the first female British athlete to gain medals in 4 consecutive Olympics, in any sport.
Not only is Katherine a world class sportswoman, she is also a truly impressive and highly accomplished speaker. She has an exciting story to tell and excels when discussing key corporate themes such as teamwork, overcoming challenges, motivation, winning and the importance of communication.
She has an impressive roll call of major corporate clients including Coca-Cola, Bank of New York Mellon, The Financial Times and Visa.
Katherine Grainger MBE is now available for corporate hospitality events, meet and greets and more.
TESTIMONIAL:
"I just wanted to drop you a quick note to express my thanks for your support in making our event with Katherine happen. It all went super smoothly. She was a true professional and added exactly what we hoped for to the evening. The group were impressed and inspired in equal measure by her story and her character. All of this complemented everything we had done so far in the programme and set us up seamlessly for the remainder of this week. Please do also express my sincere thanks to Katherine for adding so much to our executive leadership experience".
