For the past twelve years John Bird was half of the award-winning double act, The Long Johns, with John Fortune who sadly died at the end of 2013. Together they brought a sharper political edge to television's ''Bremner, Bird and Fortune''. As a result of the act, they were named the Best Opposition by The Oldie Magazine and are now Bafta award winners.
John is a satirist, actor and script writer. He has appeared in numerous television productions including That Was The Week That Was, Jabberwocky, Yes, Prime Minister and Absolute Power.
Along with the late John Fortune, John Bird is a founder member of Peter Cook's 60's satire club, ''The Establishment''.
John joined Rory and the other John at The Albery for an Autumn season in 2002, which met with great acclaim.
John Bird is available to speak at selected events, whilst still pursuing his acting career.
