Dominic Littlewood is a well known face on TV with his popular programmes on Consumer Issues. He also played the property market for several years, and his 15 years experience as a hard-nosed car dealer proved very useful when he bought and sold houses.
He is now the presenter of BBC's Dom on the Spot, Caught Red Handed and Fake Britain. He also co presents Right on the Money for the BBC and he was one of the stars of The Real Full Monty for ITV and men's cancer awareness.
Dominic made his first TV appearance on Channel 4's 'Faking It', where he taught a vicar how to be a second-hand car dealer in just one month. He was then drafted in to present BBC 2's Wrong Car Right Car.
He learned about the motor market working at new and used car dealerships in Essex from the late 80's, and went on to set up his own company. However, due to increasing media commitments Dominic closed his business down in 2002.
Dominic Littlewood's expertise in buying and selling has been put to good use presenting To Buy Or Not To Buy, for BBC1, where buyers were given the chance to 'test-drive' their new home before purchasing. In 2004 he also fronted How I Made My Property Fortune for BBC2. He has also presented regular spots on BBC 1's Holiday and has filmed Revenge TV for ITV.
An action man with a hectic schedule, Dominic contributed to Top Gear Magazine, and has written pieces for the Motoring section of the Daily Telegraph.
He started gaining a whole lot more fans with his morning consumer help programme 'Don't Get Done Get Dom'. Here, Dominic helped members of the public battle bureaucracy and turns the tables on smooth-talking salesmen.
Dominic loves to fit in adventure travel and sport. He won the celebrity sprint for BBC ONE's Comic Relief at the trials for the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham. And a serious accident in which he once broke his neck hasn't stopped him from waterskiing barefoot. He is single and lives along the Thames Estuary where he can take full advantage of his other sporting passions for sailing and jet skiing.
2007 saw Dominic team up with Latin American dance star Lilia Kopylova as he joined the fifth series of BBC1's highly successful Strictly Come Dancing.
Dominic is also a regular presenter on BBC1's The One Show as the consumer expert.
