Alan Carr is a Manchester-based stand up who only a few years ago was Heralded, one of Britain's fastest rising comic talents. Now he leaves audiences breathless the length and breadth of the country not least with his Ch4 programme Chatty Man.
From the begining of 2006 Alan Carr has been seen regularly on TV after he took over as host of the Friday Night Project on Channel 4.
Alan is a winner of both the BBC New Comedy Award and CityLife Best Newcomer of the Year in 2001.
He started playing the Edinburgh Festival in 2005. Alan's Edinburgh shows were one of the hit's of the festival, playing to sell out crowds every night and gaining a plethora of 5 star reviews across the board.
He was a regular at all the major comedy clubs in the UK, Alan even had his own monthly night at the Manchester Comedy Store, Alan Carr's Ice Cream Sunday.
