However, Grado is also a well known Scottish actor known as PC Hugh McKirdy the character he plays alongside fellow actor Manjot Sumal (PC Surjit Singh) in the hugely popular Scottish sitcom, Scot Squad.
Grado first came to prominence in 2012 as the breakout star of an online documentary, The British Wrestler. He immediately caught the eye of the BBC who made Grado the focus of their 2014 documentary, Insane Fight Club which was shown throughout the UK and on Netflix. In 2015 as Grado's popularity grew and grew, he signed for American Wrestling company TNA/Impact Wrestling. He has since performed all over the world, including in The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, The Wembley Arena and The Manchester Arena.
