Mark is perhaps most famous as the Man Who Cycled the World, taking 194 days and 17 hours to cycle solo over 13,000 miles, across four continents and through 20 countries. His story is a personal rollercoaster of mental and physical endurance, as well as a fascinating insight into the world in which we live.
In 2011 Mark was part of the six man team who rowed through the Canadian Arctic to the 1996 location of the Magnetic North Pole. Mark will speak about the four challenging expeditions he has undertaken in the last five years since leaving university. Along with his fantastic photographs and video clips, Mark's stories from the road and sea are both fascinating and inspiring.
