Jeff Green

Award winning comedian Jeff Green has established himself as one of the most popular artists on the circuit, combining razor-sharp observations with an abundant natural charm.
In 94 Jeff was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award at Edinburgh, and became a regular on the BBC series The Stand Up Show. He then hosted Comedy Club for LWT and toured the UK with Jo Brand. Jeff's career went from strength to strength. After appearing on The Clive James Show he enjoyed his first solo UK tour and recorded a forty five minute special for ITV. Jeff then took Australia by storm, playing to sell-out audiences at the Melbourne and Sydney Festivals. He returned to film another Christmas special and play in his first West End run at the Apollo Theatre. Jeff has since hosted 20th Century Stuff, and appeared several times on They Think It's All Over and a record breaking five times on Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Jeff enjoyed a sell-out run the 2000 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 2001 saw Jeff touring his new stand up show across the UK and Australia, record a full length Comedy Store special for Channel 5. In 2002 Jeff enjoyed another sell out run in Edinburgh, toured the UK & Australia with his new stand up show and was seen on BBC1s Jo Brands Hot Potatoes as team captain. Rounding off the year he released his first book The A-Z of Living Together which went to no 5 in the Sunday Times best sellers list, staying in the top 10 for 5 weeks and selling 125,000 copies. He also found time to release his first CD Jeff Green - Debauched Cherub.
In 2003 he has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, finished his follow-up book The A-Z of Being Single and recorded a live video from London's West-End - Back from the Bewilderness.
2004 saw Jeff performing again at the Edinburgh fringe and he toured the UK with his live stand-up show 'From A-Z'. The following year Jeff wrote his third book The A-Z of Having a Baby.
During 2006 and 2007 Jeff recorded two series of 'The Green Guide to Life' for BBC Radio 2 and toured the UK and Australia with his stand-up show 'Personal'. Also in 2007 he appeared on BBC1's Celebrity Masterchef and recorded his third series of the 'The Green Guide to Life' for BBC Radio 2.
This year, he was back in Australia appearing at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and New Zealand Comedy Festival with his new show Life-Ache. Jeff will also be again appearing at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.
