Adam Hills is a comedian who has won many awards for his comedy and he’s from Australia. Adam Hills comedy shows have been an established highlight at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2001 and he’s been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Perrier Award.
Adam is a regular guest on comedy quiz shows such as Mock The Week and Buzzcocks and in 2012 Adam became part of the Channel 4 commentary team for the London Paralympics. This was something he previously did in Australia for the ABC network during the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.
For the past 10 years Channel 4 have featured Adam on his own nightly show The Last Leg which also features fellow comedians, Josh Widdecombe and Alex Brooker. The Last Leg started in 2012 and became so popular, it has remained on TV ever since.
Adam Hills is a comedian who is also a regular presenter on radio, contributing on BBC Radio2 and Radio4. In Australia in 2005 Adam hosted a popular music quiz show on Australia’s ABC1 television called Spicks and Specks. The programme went on for 6 years until 2001. Adam then returned in 2021 for a further series.
In 2018 Adam released his first book Best Foot Forward about his life in comedy. It was a Times bestseller. In 2022 he then published a children’s novel Rock Star Detectives.
Adam Hills comedian received an MBE in 2022 in honour of his services to Paralympic sport and disability awareness.
