Ricky Gervais does not do after dinner engagements but he will consider select events for his talents as a stand up comedian, which will be sure to impress your guests.
To date Ricky’s show The Office has collected a huge number of awards including, Two Golden Globes, six BAFTAs, four British Comedy Awards and also the prestigious American award The Peabody.
In 2005 Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who wrote and directed The Office together, released a hilarious new sitcom on BBC2 called Extras. Ben Stiller, Les Dennis, Samuel L. Jackson, Ross Kemp, Patrick Stewart and also Kate Winslet all performed cameos in the series. A second series of Extras went into production and was released in 2007. David Bowie was one of the many stars who appeared in the second series.
Ricky is the first British person to write an episode of the American cartoon sitcom The Simpsons. He has made quite a name for himself in the US, having hosted The Golden Globes five times. One video on Youtube with a collection of clips from the Globes has had over 40 million views.
More recently Ricky created, directed and starred in the TV series After Life. It was a huge hit which was renewed for a second and third series.
Ricky also recorded one of his stand up shows for Netflix SuperNature which was released in 2022. This was Ricky’s second show for Netflix and it’s totally no holes barred.
