Gordon Buchanan, celebrated Scottish wildlife cameraman and presenter, hails from Tobermory, on the beautiful Isle of Mull. Now based near Glasgow, Scotland, Gordon has spent the last twenty years filming the weird, wild and wonderful animals that we share the planet with. Travelling to the world's remotest corners, he continually strives to convey the wonder and beauty of the natural world.

Gordon is passionate about raising awareness of the fragility of the world's endangered species and habitats. This has led Gordon to take part in some of the most challenging expeditions around the globe, in Asia, Africa, the Arctic, Alaska, Papua New Guinea, Russia and South America.

His work has become steadily more high profile and Gordon has been recently seen in the BBC series, 'The Bear Family and Me', 'Lost Land Of the Tiger', 'Lost Land Of The Volcano' and 'Lost Land Of The Jaguar'. He is a regular contributor to BBC's popular 'SpringWatch' and 'AutumnWatch' programmes and is currently presenting the new series, 'Maneater Man Hunt' for National Geographic.

When not gallivanting around the world, Gordon Buchanan spends his precious spare time, at home in Glasgow, with his wife Wendy and their two children.
