Arlene Stuart

 Arlene Stuart
Arlene Stuart hails from the Granite City, Aberdeen but is now based close to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh.

Arlene has worked in the broadcast industry for over 20 years and is immersed in the world of news, documentaries and light entertainment. She has also developed a diverse range of presentation styles that has led to her successful career in radio and television, both local and national.

Some of her TV presenting roles include the lifestyle programme ‘Feeling Good’ for BBC Scotland, children’s entertainment show ‘Wemyss Bay’ for STV, travel log/diving Film ‘Underwater Bermuda’ and a documentary ‘The River’ for Grampian TV.

Currently, Arlene co-hosts the popular ‘Forth1 Breakfast show’, with legendary DJ Boogie along with his Australian sidekick Dingo, which means an early start to her full on day.

Arlene is also busy in the corporate world, where she voices commercials, CD roms, audio/video podcasts and sorts out the ‘men from the boys’ with her dynamic no nonsense approach to media training.

Apart from being an excellent broadcaster, Arlene is also a superb host and conference facilitator. Some of the recent highlights have been as compere of the annual star studded ‘Radio Forth Awards’ in Edinburgh, the sell out ‘Radio Forth on the Fringe’, with a host of top stars from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, chairing the ‘Historic Building Debate’ at Holyrood Palace, with Prince Charles as the guest of honour and hosting the 2011 British Council of Shopping Centres annual conference.

Whether it’s reporting from the top of mountains, exploring the shipwrecks of Bermuda on film, hosting a phone-in, interviewing politicians or celebrities, voicing commercials in her own ISDN studio or hosting a glittering awards ceremony, Arlene is the total professional and thrives on the challenges that face her.

TESTIMONIALS:

‘‘Your delivery and presentation of awards set an ideal tone for the evening and I received some great feedback. The event was a huge success. Thank you, I look forward to working with you in the future.’’
