Catriona Shearer

Catriona Shearer is one of the more recent additions to the BBC Scotland news team, presenting both the morning and evening news.
She had previously worked for the BBC in London and Wales but her work has not always been in the news room. In Wales she co-presented Sportstime for the BBC and with her passion for music, she has been and still is, involved in numerous music radio programmes.
On top of her news presenting, Catriona also presents the Vic Galloway show and New Music Zone for the BBC. She loves to attend music festivals and live gigs and is always on the look out for new and exciting music that she can feature on the programmes.
With such a bubbly and outgoing personality, Catriona Shearer is a superb choice of host for events and awards.
