Richard Herring

Richard Herring was described by the British Theatre Guide as ''one of the leading hidden masters of modern British comedy''. He first came to prominence as one half of the acerbic alternative comedy due ''Lee and Herring'' becoming popular in the mid 90's with their hit show ''Fist Of Fun''. Later, having split with his comedy partner Stewart Lee, he then teamed up with script writer and broadcaster Andrew Collins to form ''Collings and Herrin'' famous for their sideways look at the news and current affairs.
Since 2000, Richard has toured nearly every year, with a new stand up show. His latest successful show is the ''Hitler Moustache'' which sold out at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2009.
Richard is now a regular face on our TV screens with appearances on ''Have I Got News For You'' ''Argumental'' and ''Mock The Week'' to name but a few.
