Michelle McManus is one of the hardest working presenters, hosts, DJs and of course, singers in Scotland. She currently has over 25,000 followers on Twitter, or X as it is now known.
Michelle was the main presenter of Scottish Television’s popular weekday magazine show ”The Hour”. She became a regular at Glasgow’s main Christmas Pantomime in The Pavilion. Later she also had a sell out show at The Edinburgh Fringe called Reality: The Musical.
Michelle took part in two ”You Are What You Eat,”. These were documentaries (the first of which achieved the show’s highest ever ratings). To co-inside with the broadcasts, Michelle published her best selling diary ”Michelle’s Diary”. Later she released her first DVD ”The Life Plan”.
She has hosted her own Saturday night radio show on the top rated independent station in Scotland, Radio Clyde. Michelle also had her own series ”Let’s Do The Show Right Here” on BBC Radio Scotland. She still has a weekly radio show.
Michelle McManus received rave reviews for her appearance in the ”Vagina Monologues” at the Millennium Theatre in Derry and she appeared in the same piece for a sold out week in Edinburgh. Other theatre successes include an Edinburgh Festival run of ”Discotivity”.

Michelle McManus has made guest appearances in Loose Women and Still Game. She also toured the Far East in ”Little Voice”.
Having won Pop Idol in 2003 her first single, ‘All This Time’, was number one for three weeks. It was rated as the second biggest selling British single of 2004. Michelle McManus was the first Scottish female to debut at number one and the single was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award. Her album ”The Meaning of Love” was also hugely successful.
