Isobel Rutter is already drawing comparison with the legendary Elaine C Smith. Like Elaine C, Isobel is a stunning performer with a personality which easily fills any stage. With her natural talent and great timing, Isobel has successfully mastered the art of delivering hilarious self penned monologues and side splitting stand-up comedy routines.

Isobel handles, with ease. the one-woman show type format and has her own show 'Bits 'n' Boobs'. She continues to add to her performing skills by writing her own original stand-up comedy routines, which have been hugely successful. In her one woman stage shows, Isobel excels and her talent as a writer and performer really shines through.

Isobel has performed numerous roles over the years in popularly known plays such as The Steamie, Steel Magnolias, Shirley Valentine and most recently appeared in the lead role of Liz Small in 'A Happy Medium', the acclaimed comedy play written by Dorothy Paul and John Bett.

A gifted singer and musician, Isobel covers a wide range of musical styles from classical through to pop and jazz. Isobel has great versatility and her interests are diverse. She was the conductor of Aberfeldy Gaelic Choir from 2007 to 2009, bringing them to the height of success and first place at a Mod within just a few weeks of joining them.

Isobel is also a superb, funny after dinner speaker and has spoken at venues all over the UK. She is comfortable speaking at all types of engagements and is happy to take a brief from clients. In 2011 she won the prestigious Wag of the Year speaker Award in Glasgow.

One of Isobel's great passions is the works of the national Bard, Robert Burns and she is happy to perform at both formal and informal Burns Suppers, either in a singing or speaking role. She has performed at numerous Burns Suppers over the years, both at home and abroad.

Isobel's great mentor is one of Scotland's most popular performers, the legendary Dorothy Paul.
