Louise Batchelor
Louise Batchelor took up the post of Transport and Environment Correspondent with BBC Scotland 15 years ago and has twice won the British Environment and Media award for her television coverage of environmental issues. She has now started up her own company and will continue to work as a freelance journalist She began her career as a newspaper journalist but has been with the BBC for 30 years, starting on Radio Scotland when it was founded in 1978. Louise has been a presenter of Reporting Scotland, Newsnight, Newsroom South East and numerous other programmes.
Louise is also a director of the Fair Isle Bird Observatory and on the steering committee for two community woodlands.
Louise Batchelor is available for conference facilitating, awards hosting and after dinner speaking engagements.
