Louise Batchelor is a former BBC Correspondent, freelance journalist and speaker. She has considerable experience in chairing conferences, after-dinner speaking and scripting and presenting corporate DVDs. She specialises in transport, the environment and communicating science.
Louise began her career as a newspaper journalist but quickly moved onto radio and television and worked for the BBC for 30 years, starting on Radio Scotland when it was founded in 1978. She was a presenter and reporter on Reporting Scotland, Newsnight, Newsroom South East and numerous other programmes.
Louise strongly supports ‘green’ issues and tries to live an environmentally-friendly lifestyle. She has log-powered central heating and gardens organically. She’s into classical music, jazz and swing dancing.
Louise Batchelor has now officially retired from all corporate work. However, we are still able to pass certain types of requests to her, such as TV, Radio and media requests.
