Dermot O'Leary most recently fronted this year's UK Music Hall of Fame, which returned to Channel 4 screens this November. It comprised of a two-week special culminating in the prestigious induction ceremony, which saw a line up of music legends including Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan.

Dermot also recently filmed a special one on one interview with Madonna called Confessions of Madonna for Channel 4, where Dermot talked to the star about her forthcoming documentary.

In 2005 he headed another successful series of Big Brother's Little Brother for Channel 4 and has also been hosting regularly on a Saturday afternoon, The Dermot O'Leary Show on Radio 2, this comes after he started his radio career with his own indie music show on XFM. He also co hosted Comic Relief this year along with Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross
