Alan Carr is a Manchester-based stand up who has been Heralded as one of Britain's fastest rising comic talents, he has been leaving audiences breathless the length and breadth of the country for the last couple of years.

In January 2006 Alan was seen regularly on TV as he took over as host of the Friday Night Project on Channel 4 which returned for an 8 week run.

Alan is a winner of both the BBC New Comedy Award and CityLife Best Newcomer of the Year in 2001.

In 2005 Alan's Edinburgh show was one of the hit's of the festival playing to sell out crowds every night and gaining a plethora of 5 star reviews across the board.

Now a regular at all the major comedy clubs in the UK, Alan even has his own monthly night at the Manchester Comedy Store, Alan Carr's Ice Cream Sunday
