Jono Coleman was born in Hackney London.. and emigrated with his family to Sydney when he was 8. He is a keyboard player and qualified Graphic Designer who has worked on Australian TV and Radio since 1980 as a writer, presenter and comedy performer. He has also appeared in a number of Australian feature films and comedy shows on TV. Notably the Australian blockbuster film Young Einstein.

He returned to London in 1990 to work for Sky at BSKYB hosting shows on Sky One and The Power Station (The Music Channel) . Jono has also worked on many BBC and ITV shows such as Celebrity Fit Club (2 Series), GMTV (on going) and This Morningand Ant & Decs Saturday Night Take Away.

Jono has also hosted a show on VH1 with Kate Thornton and does a weekly national radio show to over 100 radio stations in Australia called My Generation.

He is also the London Correspondent for Australias number 1 Breakfast TV show Sunrise on the 7 Network. Jono also hosted Heart FM Breakfast for 7 Years and also Virgin Radio Breakfast for 6 Years.

Jono currently hosts the Sony award winning BBC London Breakfast Show on 94.9FM and has now been voted Commercial Broadcaster of the Year. He holds numerous Radio and TV awards from both the UK and Australia.

He has also been the commercial spokesman for a number of products, such as The Australian Tourist Corporation, Fosters and Qantas and he is the narrator on the BBC kids animation the Koala Bros which is ongoing and now playing internationally.

Jono Coleman is a superb host for awards evenings and an excellent after dinner speaker.
