Lloyd Scott

 Lloyd Scott
Lloyd Scott is famous for being that bloke who took over five days to finish the London Marathon in a heavy antique diving suit, his courage and achievements are extraordinary.

Lloyd was a professional goalie and a London fire fighter who made the news when he saved two children from a dreadful fire when theyd been left home alone. Just hours later, his life was turned up-side down when he discovered he had life-threatening Leukaemia.

Lloyds great sense of fun and his positive attitude to life are clearly evident in the imaginative feats of endurance he devises to raise awareness and funds (an incredible 4million to date) for Leukaemia and Cancer charities. He has ridden across Australia on a Penny Farthing and completed the first underwater marathon in Loch Ness. (In fact, Lloyd has now completed major fundraising events on all seven continents.) In the Great North Run recently, Lloyd wore a space suit and bouncy stilts and finally completed the half-marathon in five hours. Having battled his own illness successfully, he knows how important it is to be a positive role model, to encourage others to face their fears, to live life to the full and to become the best you can be.

Lloyds mad-cap fundraising events have featured on GMTV, BBC Breakfast, CNN, ITN, Richard and Judy and Sky News and he was invited to appear on Question of Sport, They Think its All Over and Have I Got News for You. During ITVs This is Your Life, Lloyds inspirational attitude to life was celebrated by Peter Shilton, Gary Lineker, Lesley Garrett and the great late Sir John Mills.

At a recent speaking engagement, the client wrote Lloyds story, told in an astonishing matter-of-fact way with great humour and some fantastic photos, is testament to how courage and determination can overcome lifes challenges and achieve the most amazing results. Lloyds achievements are not just amazing, theyre humbling, inspiration and totally awe-inspiring a tale not to be missed.

Lloyd has spoken at a number of Team Sales Meetings. His manner, presentation and humour despite his battle against the odds, never fail to inspire and motivate those who attend.
