Rt Hon William Hague MP
William Hague was Leader of the Conservative Part in opposition from 1997-2001, having served in John Major's Government as Secretary of State for Wales and Minister for Pensions. William Hague is perhaps best known for his skill in parliamentary debate, particularly in some 200 exchanges and debates with Tony Blair. Channel 4 viewers voted him 'Politician of the Year' in 2001 and he was the Spectator's 'Parliamentarian of the Year' in 1998.
William was recently appointed an adviser to the JCB Group, as well as joining AES Engineering as a non-executive Director and joining the Political Council of Terra Firma Capital Partners.
