Kaye Adams is best known for being the presenter and host of ITV’s daytime show Loose Women. She has been doing the programme since 1999, stopping in 2006 to sit for five years on the panel of Ch5’s morning show The Wright Stuff. Back at Loose Women in 2013, Kaye has remained there ever since
Previous to Loose Women, Kaye Adams’ career took off in 1988 when she became a regular presenter on STV’s legendary news programme Scotland Today. She was also the host of STV’s Scottish Women which ran for six years and won a number of Awards. Scottish Women still ranks as one of the most successful STV has ever produced. It marked the start of Kaye’s career as a talk show host.
Since then, she has presented ITV Weekend Live (ITV network), three series of Central Weekend Live with Nicky Campbell and John Stapleton, Kaye , a network show for BBC2, Esther , also BBC2 network and Pride and Prejudice for BBC1 Scotland. Kaye has also appeared on BBC 1’s flagship political debate show Question Time and as a guest host on Have I Got News For You.
In 2009 Kaye returned to STV. She was a guest host on their new daily lifestyle programme The Hour alongside Stephen Jardine. One year later Kaye was with BBC Radio Scotland hosting her daily phone in show Call Kaye. In 2015 the show ended to be replaced by The Kaye Adams Programme
