Mark Beaumont has spent a bit of time at sea in the last 12 months. Rowing the Atlantic earlier this year and last year's Arctic sea faring adventure, which is being shown on BBC1 this week.

Mark along with five others, including well know Scottish explorer Jock Wishart, set out to highlight climate change on the ice in the polar regions by rowing 450 miles to the 1996 Magnetic North Pole. Mark was commissioned by the BBC to record the event.

You will be able to see Mark and the team by watching 'Rowing the Arctic' on the 25th April at 10.45pm on BBC1.
